Hello everyone.

We got two POL hens in the summer from an open farm. It turns out they weren't POL and one of them isn't even a girl! Our lovely Rhode Island Red is a boy and though we're in love with her/him we have to give him away because we can't have him crowing in our built up area.

"Wilma" as we've been calling him is very docile, good with children and loves cheddar biscuits and we wish we didn't have to give him away.

Please can someone who may already have some hens give him a good home? We're in greater belfast.

The good news is that I've found someone who'll take him and he's going on Saturday. She has even kindly agreed to let us visit him! She has a farm with lots of sheep and an uninhabited coop. She's getting hens too.

If we had any land I would keep him myself but it's just not viable in a built up area. I actually feel really guilty for giving him away.
