hi i have a hen house for sale we was building this to use but now have had a change of plans and have a new house and run on the way so dont need this one

where to start

size is

just under 5ft wide

3 ft deep

3ft 6 high (if i remember right)

it has 4 sheets of brand new coroline for the roof

it is made out of good shiplap and has been fully lined and insulated with polystyrine help keep nosis down and also adds warmth in the winter

the legs are 18 inchs high so even large foul can get under the house to shelter there are a few off cuts of shiplap on the sides of legs to add extra shelter

the legs can easy be cut down if its to high for your needs

even the door is lined and insulated and is hung with strong hinges and bolt to lock

all the wood has been treated and ready to go out side


inside the house i have not put the perch in yet and have not done any nest boxs (mine dont use them )

i have some wood to go with it to make the perch so you can do it to suit your self

there is a peice of wood that i was going to use as the ramp that comes with it

the house has been built in 4 sections front back and sides these blot together then the floor whcih is in 3 peices drops in (there is a 2 gap at one end of the floor i was going to put some plastic mesh over that for a nice big air vent

then just put the roof on and screw it down and your sorted


its really just a case of putting the perch in and boxs if you wish the rest is done

its all brand new no hens have ever been in there

could even cut the legs down and use as a dog kennel
