Hen being sick is it sour crop?

Hi there, I'm new here but I just wanted to put note on this forum about my hen to see if anyone can give me some advise. Basically Molly my hen has been looking a bit miserable yesterday and again today. I picked her up this morning and water started to come out of her mouth. It was only a bit to start with but then it just kept coming. It started clear but then went yellowy and smelt like eggs. I was totally shocked so took her straight to the vet. Unfortunately the vet didn't seem to have any experience of hens and ended up coming to the conclusion it was a crop infection and gave me antibiotics. Now I'm back home and I've started to do some research I've found cases of hens getting sour crop a fungal infection, but the other worrying thing is I've read that giving them antibiotics actually makes it worse. I can't go back to the vet now as they will be closed for the weekend. I really want to get her some medicine that will help does anyone know if I can buy something from the supermarket, as the pharmacy will be closed now till Monday. I read that garlic can be good for fungal infections, but has anyone tried giving it to a hen? Its a bit of a long shot I know but I am in a real dilema now, as I certainly don't want to make her worse.
