Creepy crawlies

How many of you regularly treat for fleas and mites on your poultry.
Whenever our chickens are handled we check that they don't have an infestation around their vents and spray them with mite spray if they doPS - doesn't always mean that we are always in time - my OH has flea-bitten ankles today!

Unfortunately one of the few problems associated with chicken keeping. It becomes much more evident in the warmer months, particularly with red mite, an external parasite that can run rife through chickens
