bloody beak

Hi
My son picked up 2 new chickens yesterday. Both happy, eating and drinking. However tonight he has put them in their coop for the night to find 1 with blood on her beak, blood on nose and cut on her comb. What treatment could we give her and any suggestions how this could have happended. The other girl has no blood on her.

Re: bloody beak

She appears to have a crack on the end of her top beak. It has stopped bleeding. We are taking her back to the farm for them to take a look at her.
