Baytril for Sour Crop !!

Hello, My old chicken Peggy has suspected sour crop.

I have been prescribed Baytril for her which is normal for chickens but was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to work if it is going to.

I have only used it once before and ended up having that chicken put down so looking for an idea how long to give it before I get her PTS as don't want to leave her suffering.
