well .. unfortunatly had to have him put to sleep .. it was the result of major Inbreeding
and not enough Vit B in the parent birds diet ..so i have notified the people i got the eggs off ...we tried for 2 days with splints on his feet to straighten them but once they came off they just curled back up .. so there ya go .. if ya ducks are born with curled up feet and refuse to stand.. you now know why ..lets hope no one has to endure wot that little duck did .. may he have lots of swims up there .. r.i.p littlefoot ![]() |

there are some out there who only init for the money .. i must put my hands up i am new to the duck side of things but i intend to show my ducks when older so i needed some good quality ducks .. these will now just be pets and will be spoilt rotten .. and the eggs will do for my constant baking, they wont be bred from and if they turn out to be drakes they will be found a good home to go too ...(unless of course i cant part with them ) |
