Incubation help please

Hi there ,

i have 7 duck eggs in a incubator and they have been in there now for 22 days .. i just done my last candling and noticed that 1 has died in the shell and 5 have or are trying to break into the air sac and 1 is still have a party kicking about .. what i would like advice is .. should i stop turning them now i have noticed that they have broken into the air sac ?

Thanks for any help .. this is my fist time hatching duck eggs in a incubator .. my temp is at 37.5 to 37.9 and humidty is currently at 65 %

They will kick about when candled. Do you expect them to hatch on day 28? if so the humidity is very high at the moment, we usually stop the turning for the last three days but watch and lift them twice every day to feel for pipping spots. they breathe through the air sac so not sure what you are saying?

hi thanks for reply ,

i got told to increase my humidty to 65% as it was currently at 50% ..as this is my first go i just did as was told .. what would be best humidty to use ? also i got told once they break in to the air sac to stop turning them as they getting ready to hatch .. again im not sure wot to do .. i have researched it but there are so many conflicting sites its hard to firgure out which to do ..thanks for help

i checked the eggs this morning and one is tapping the shell and cheaping away to itself .. all the others are still moving about and giving the odd cheap.. so should i stop turning them now one is tapping at the inside of the shell ?

sorry for all the questions but im new to the hatching part with an incubator.. i used to use broodys many years ago but im starting out again
..thanks for any help
