Soft shells;one of Pekin Ducks

Hi, we have 4 pet Pekin Ducks and lately I've been noticing soft shells on one of the eggs out of the 4. This doesn't happen everyday but more this spring than the last few years.

We've always mixed ground Oyster shell with their food as calcium supplement and they seem healthy otherwise, never had any problems with them.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks

Soft shells is one of the first signs of them stopping laying at the end of their egg capacity.
