no eggs for 3 weeks

Hi there
hens seem healthy, one hen is 3 years old, the other two hens are about 2 years old.
Have they stopped laying for good?

Re: no eggs for 3 weeks

Hi could be because the nights are closing in, they need a certain amount of light in a day to lay eggs. i think???
hopefully they should start laying again when the lighter nights return

I have had some chickens lay at ten years old! But she was a magnificent hen and sadly passed away after 16 years!

Light, cold, dark, and age, also food, its getting colder and darker
