Re: Where Is The Crop In Comparrason To The Breast?

Right under the throat, at the base of it in fact. It's also called the Gizzard. A very strong muscle which, working with the grit it contains, grinds up the food before digestion. It would look a bit like a chicken's 'boobs' really, when full. What we eat as chicken breast are actually muscles underneath, the ones that would work the wings.

Cascara is on a distinguished road
Re: Where Is The Crop In Comparrason To The Breast?

As you can see the gizzard is behind and below the crop. The crop is easy to feel to see if the bird has eaten.
