Quail

Has anyone got any idea why Quail sometimes refuse to mate?
I'm asking for someone else so I have no details or first hand knowledge

Re: Quail

Hi, does your male quail `crow`? (I don`t know the term for a quail`s noise but it`s a loud trilling sound). This would indicate that he`s mature. Also what do you feed them on? Since mine have been sharing Layers Pellets with my chickens they`ve been at it none stop. I`ve had no luck incubating any eggs up to now though. Hope you solve your problem.
