Re: duck egg help

Feed them on chick crum and your could offer cracked corn until they are 2weeks and they after 2weeks you can move them on to Grower Pellets and the cracked corn also...
Good luck x

Re: duck egg help

good luck with the hatching of the new arrivals, broody hens make good mothers to little ducklings, just beware that broody hens are usually only needed to sit on hen eggs for 21 days, a duck egg takes 28 days,

let us know how you get on, little ducks also like bread and milk to eat

Re: duck egg help

give them chick crumb, then grower pellets then layer pelltes, dont feed to much bread as its not good for ducks!

Re: duck egg help

Do make sure you give the eggs or the straw round them a light spray of water as they need to be slighty moist, much harder shells than a chicken. Poor mother duck, well done for rescuing the eggs.
