chick identification
Among the last misc collection of bantam chicks, they are now 8 weeks old, I have 2 pure white, very feathered legs, very slight comb, one has a straight beak and the other a really defined curved downwards beak. I would imagine he is a cockeral but cant find what they are - any thoughts please
thanks jenn |

Re: chick identification
Would need to see pics, also it's pretty difficult to tell cockerels from hens especially if they are not an auto-sexed breed or have any plumage differences that might give them away, unless you physically sex them, until they are well on their way to adulthood and they either develop a good comb or a tail. I've got one this year that I thought was a hen until a month ago when it started growing red tail feathers and is generally small for a cockerel - so I had 3 cockerels not 2 - bummer!!
