Re: hatching day

well Ive turned the incubator off, 5 days over the time nd there is no movement, chirping or anything and they went cold even though the incubator was still at the same temperature. still think broodys are best

chickenrun is on a distinguished road
Re: hatching day

sorry to hear you didnt get any out your incubator,

When i did the chicken eggs i only got 4 hatch out of 12 which for me wasnt bad as i had never done them before, I will master them sooner or later.

I mastered the duck eggs after a couple of times incubating as now i get 98-99% hatch out which is good for an incubator,

My silkie only manged 3 out of 6 eggs but with the hot weather we had i dont think it helped, my other silkie has just gone broody so i will see how she does.
