ferocious chick

I have had to seperate one chick from the 6 week old batch as he kept attacking the others, he was fine until 2 days ago, then started chasing them and refusing to let them get under the hen, so I moved him on his own, tried putting him back after a day and it was chaos, the hen was frantic and he really was attacking the others. he def is a cockeral, with already a red little combe. any thoughts please
