how old

having got the last two sets of chicks to 3 and 4 weeks old without being stolen , they are now further in the garden, the one with the 4week olds has started laying again, how old can I take the hen away,

they will still need heat or to be under mom untill 6-8 weeks

ta, I thought that but wasnt sure, I just hope that whoever took our bantie and chicks didnt seperate thewm although they were 6 weeeks old

hope they were fine too if you did want to take them out just do it it on a night and put them in a warm box they will be fine in the day as long as it dont get to chilly or real cold wind
