Re: ducks can anyone help please

Hi

Im not sure what the black and white ones are but the brown one looks like a kharki campbell.

The two males will be fine with the female, the better one of the males will get her, and the better male will sometimes just chase the other one away if he goes near the female.
The boldness on the neck is normal its from the male treading, if you watch them the male grabs the male by the neck.

The naughty male will settle down once breeding season stops, its because they are randy haha.
I would get some more females then they can pick and choose which one they want then with out the males fighting (dont worry they wont hurt each other).

looking after ducks are not hard and its good fun. aslong as they are safe at night, got clean water and food they will be happy and very awarding with eggs .

(im trying my best to find out what the males are and will let you know if i have any luck)

Re: ducks can anyone help please

Is one drake black-white and one brown-white?
If so it looks like the brown-white drake is a black swedish x kharki campbell and could be the son of the black and white drake and kharki campbell female.... i could be wrong but looks that way.

Is that the same as your black duck? if so they are black swedish drake

Re: ducks can anyone help please

No its not bad to have a cross, it just means its not a pure breed.

One thing tho is that most cross's wont sit on eggs to hatch out.

99% sure its a black swedish drake and 100% kharki campbell female... but not 100% on other drake.

if you find out please let us know.

If you need any advice just give me a pm.

mitch
