Hi, can anyone help identify this bird

I have seen a duck/goose at a local lake but i cannot identify it! The lake owner is keen to know its species, as am I. Attached is a picture, which isn't the best I'm afraid. Can anyone help? Thanks, Bamboo

welcome to the forum Its like a fulvous whistling duck but feather markings are different so could be some sort of the whistling duck breed. mitch
