Cause of lumps on eggs?

Some times when a chicken lays an egg it has these sorta lumps on the shell, what causes this and how i can prevent it? Just wondering because we are getting hens soon. Shop eggs aren't the same as the eggs you get from your own hens.

Hi
Its nothing to worry about it dont affect the taste in anyway, all it is is extra shell, The chickens i used to have sometimes laid eggs like it, But my ducks have never done it

Im not sure what causes it but it might have something to do with to much calcuim but i might be wrong.

Im sure someone on here might be able to help you out
