I already have one chicken currently living with our dog (collie cross) she was really broody to the pointwhere she would attack the dog wen she would go to bed so we got hersome eggs 7 chicken altough we think one is guinea fowl 1 duck and one turkey she is now happy and hasnt moved since we gave her them. Wednesday is the day we are going to torch them as it is a week since they where hatched we have 19 days to build a coop will they be alruight in a rabbit hutch for the first week or so she is sleeping in a chinchilla cage turned nest at the moment so the dog carnt have a nip at he eggs i am so scared incase the eggs are duds would i need a big pond for the duck or would a old metal bath be alright. I also want to no wether it woukld be alright to take the turkey for walk would i need a special lead for it (yes i am strange, strange and proud)
P.S this is the coop i am planning on building but i am also modifying it. How to build a chicken coop introductory page
