rising prices

Hi all

do you think the price of everything going up i.e layer pellets will stop people buying poultry and waterfowl?

I get my food cheaper anyway but its going to go up 50p next week around my area, in the last year its gone up an extra £1.85 a bag

few people i know are reducing there stock due to the price rise as its getting expensive to keep them.

Im debating whether to incubate this year, last year i was selling duckling from day old to 7days at £4-5 each then alittle bit more as the weeks gone on but due to the price of everything going up i would have to put my prices up... i dont do it for a profit, i do it as i enjoy incubating but dont want to be out of pocket at the same time.

cheers mitch

Re: rising prices

yea i agree, we've also noticed prices going up on the food
and we get our stock from a farm shop that also sells other farm animal and equestiran food
i dont think we will be getting anymore chicken due to the cost
