Turkey?

Hi;
I had just bought a pair of these wierd lookin birds which I think that they are kind of turkies.
Here's a video of them, if they are turkies i realy hope that someone tell what kind of turkies are they, in my opinion they look similar to the ocellated turkey, but these are less colorful and don't shiny feathers and thier wattles are bit different as well.

Re: Turkey?

Lol! Don't worry I'm not planning on eating them!!
They can't be Rare, I saw them in a pet store along with other birds (finches, parrots, canaries and pigeons), and they were pretty cheap as well!
How do turkies look like at young age? Maybe they are still not fully grown yet.

Re: Turkey?

Turkeys look like the weirdest things ever when they are little. To be honest they are rather ugly until about 16weeks old.

They look a lot like my nofolk blacks when they were babies.

They change pretty quick though!

And unfortunately they are for eating go for "processing" a week today...
