sammykins is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: My ducks are in their pond!!!!! finally!!!

she only had 2 soft shell eggs before laying proper eggs, then she had 2 soft eggs a few days ago, but has since been laying fine. She has layers pellets, oyster shell, mixed corn and spring greens, and a few worms here and there!

She only lays 1 proper egg a day and thats why it was weird she laid another 2 soft shell eggs during the day, but if she is laying fine now, then should i be worried?

Anyway how the hell will i get her to the vets - shes massive - lol.

I have also looked at my chart and in the past month she has laid 17 double yolk eggs, 9 single yolk eggs and about 4 days with no eggs, and altogether 4 soft shelled eggs (2 at the beginning and 2 the other day)

Thanks for your replies

Ahh, if she's back to normal now I wouldn't panic, just keep an eye on her

I put mine in an old printer box when I take them to the vet, it fits two in so they don't get stressed and it's tall enough for them to stand up.
