How to sex A M Texan quail chicks

Hi looh

Its hard too sex texan quails at such a young age as you cant sex with there breast colour feathers like other breeds of quail but you can try this method ......Turn them upside down (when they are about 6 weeks) and squeeze (gently) their vent if its a boy then foam will come out... if nothing then maybe a girl, but sometimes its still to immature to tell.

hope that helps

cheers mitch
