news: jelly-blooms move North + expand
Giant jellyfish head north in warming world - World environment- msnbc.com
jelly-blooms once rare (~every 40-yrs) are now
an annual event off Japan + other cold-water coasts;
fish, plankton, fisheries + swimmers are affected,
as is the larger ecosystem.
this is seen as a symptom of climate-change,
and of serious stress in oceanic health.
