Chinese dog owners must choose which pet to save, which will be taken

cant believe they expect their people to do this. i hope if that ever happened here we would rise up and kill the government!!!

A pet becomes part of the family so this shouldn't be happening, I don't think I could make a decision like that.

I don't understand this why not just get all the dogs (pets) innoculated against the Rabies and as for the strays, save as many as possible and re-home them.

It's asking them basically to choose between a family member and that is so disgusting.

They have a massive problem with Rabies, so some idiot came up with the idea of limiting pet ownership, although as you would expect the majority of cases are in the stray population, this has led to even more dogs being left to roam the streets as pet owners are forced to abandon their pets increasing the Rabies problem!
It doesn't help that pet dogs were a status symbol and the government practically encouraged ownership to reduce the stress/trauma of the 1 child rule so many pet dog owners have multiple pets.
