Tamsin is on a distinguished road
This is so sick

I found this story this morning on the herald website and its brought tears to my eyes.

THREE people have been arrested in conection with the stabbing to death of a 10-week-old puppy in Plymouth.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday after a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy was stabbed 38-times in the throat and neck, severing its spinal cord.
Yesterday a 55-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were also arrested in connection with the killing.
All three have been released on police bail until July 14.
The distraught owner yesterday said she would never get over the horrific attack
Southway mother-of-two Shelagh Cotton described finding her pup Rosie lying dead in a pool of blood on her bedroom floor when she returned home on Wednesday afternoon.
A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary but later released on police bail.
Shelagh said she was petrified of living in her own home after the ‘evil’ crime.
“It was just horrible – all that blood,” she said. “I’ve never seen a dog injured before. It was like she’d been butchered.
“I will never get over it. She was beautiful. She was my baby. I loved her so much; everyone did.
“Something we loved has been taken away from us. That’s unforgivable.”
Shelagh, a full-time carer for her son Wayne Cotton, who has learning disabilities, said she last saw Rosie alive shortly after 8am on Wednesday morning.
The pair had left the puppy asleep on Shelagh’s bed, with their other dog Lassie, an adult collie cross, when they went shopping in the city centre.
They had visited their support worker at the civic centre and bought some dog toys, said Shelagh.
She said: “When we got back at 3.30pm I put the key in the door and said to Wayne that it was strange Rosie wasn’t barking – she’d been getting a funny little bark.
“I walked in to the bedroom and there she was. It was just horrible. There was blood all over the floor in the middle of the room.
“I thought maybe she was asleep at first because of the way she was curled up on her side. Then I touched her with my hand and I could see she was dead.
“I just started crying. I told Wayne not to go in there but he did.
“We just stood hugging one another crying.”
Wayne added: “Mum told me not to go in there but I did and found Rosie dead. I was so upset. I loved her to bits.”
Shelagh said she was not certain how an intruder could have entered, but the bedroom window was unlatched when she returned.
The pair called the police, who visited the house and launched an investigation.
Rosie’s body was taken to Estover Veterinary Hospital and examined.
Shelagh said: “I haven’t gone to sleep at all and I don’t want to live here any more.
“I don’t want to go in the bedroom. I’m petrified of going out and leaving Lassie alone.”
Shelagh had owned Rosie for six weeks, having been given her by a friend.
An RSPCA spokeswoman said: “As this is an active investigation it is not really appropriate for us to comment at this stage.”
A police spokesman said: “People become extremely attached to their pets and when they die in these circumstances it can cause them a great deal of anguish.
“The dog was taken to the veterinary surgeon at Estover and examined and found to have 38 individual stab wounds to its body. It had severe internal injuries to its neck and the spinal cord had been severed.”
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the offence on Wednesday evening.
He was later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
