NewsDaily: Woman mauled by chimp shows new face in first photo

unfortunately, the double hand-transplant failed after pneumonia complications, & her new hands were removed.

she was attacked by a friend's pet-chimp when the 2 women attempted to put him back in his cage; the chimp had
been drinking wine & was given tranquilizers by his owner, but she was still unable to get him into the cage alone.
so she called her friend to help; the woman had met her chimp before, & had helped to cage him several times.
this time was different; he attacked her with extreme violence, ripping off her nose, eyelids, lips, parts of her cheeks,
mauling both her hands, & very nearly killing her simply by blood loss.

she lost both eyes & is blind; she has no sense of smell.
