Increase in tornado, hurricane damage brings call for more stringent building standards

i've been saying this for 5-years:
stronger winds, more shear, more microbursts, more tornados, more hurricanes, more severe storms?
we need more demanding building codes to prevent structural or catastrophic damage.

I'm guessing you're talking about the US and Canada?

My OH would totally agree with you, he's always ranting about this
