wait one doggone minute, General Motors! i like the fact that electric cars & bikes are quiet.
pedestrians just have to use their eyes, NOT their ears, to notice them. The solution is not to make electric cars
or trucks or bikes noisier - it's to make pedestrians more safety-conscious.

noise-pollution is just as bad as any other kind; 'quiet' is one of the most endangered qualities
of modern life, there are now very few places on the entire planet, from the deep oceans to the poles,
where we can be free of manmade noises. noise is a universal stressor for any species.
