drought in Texas: owners abandoning donkeys by the hundreds
it's truly pathetic that with NO wild forage & NO hay or feed to be had, livestock auctions won't even let
donkeys be unloaded for sale; ONE non-profit donkey rescue spends 90% of their budget in Texas -
but other states provide the funds to clean up the Texas-sized mess.

at the very minimum, if U cannot provide for an animal in Ur care, & that animal cannot survive on their own -
after all, there's no forage & no water out there! - euthanizing is the only ethical choice left. dumping is never
IMO justifiable.
