Think there must be a misprint...says the sheep were put to sleep?

i'm sure those were the sheep that were mauled - sheep can have their skin ripped off the body,
which is extremely painful, when the fleece is gripped.

i could not open Page-Two, either,
which probably had more details.

i think 28 died, & more were damaged & put-down - but that is only a guess on my part.

Either way, whether the dogs finished the job or not is irrelevant, if they had to be put to sleep they were obviously in a pretty bad way!

I feel sorry for the kids having to find that

yes - it would have given me nightmares for a long time, if i'd been the kid who found them.
