Egypt protests: Horses starve to death as tourism in troubled region dwindles | Mail Online

I cannot begin to understand how harrowing and difficult it is in Egypt right now for all concerned, but sure to goodness these poor animals should be put out of their misery and end their suffering if no one can help them? This is truly shocking.

Re: Horses in Egypt.

I'm afrraid I'm not brave enough to click on the link, but I raise funds for The Brooke, so I am aware of the often dreadful conditions equines have to endure.

The Brook started life in Cairo, which is why I looked at the thread, but now works all over the world. Please have a look at their site. They do wonderful work.
