The poor poor dogs, why are people so stupid.
 This happened not long ago with a Labrador and the man had tied it to a break down truck at a garage and the mechanic hopped in the truck and drove away with the dog still tied to the truck.

 . I can't believe anyone would be so stupid as to tie their dogs to a vehicle.

It makes no sense tying a dog to a car, anyone with half a brain can see that
. The only time I ever leave my dog is outside shops that have a sturdy place to fasten his lead onto, and where I can see him from the inside.
