I have just got a 8 week old border collie, hard work at the moment but I am loving him loads already, he is learning to do toilets outside quite quickly and I intend to do some puppy classes with him.

Re: Border Collie

Border Collies R Us! We currently have three - all from show lines - Evie, Evie's son Quinny, and 13 week old Xia (although Evie is living with my niece at the moment) My niece also has Xia's litter brother, Leon.

Re: Border Collie

Our BC Trio 11 yrs old who we bred was diagnosed with Kidney failure, he was put on Hills K/D dog food, both tinned and kibble, he ate it at first but then decided he wouldn't so tried cooking for him instead but sadly he had a secondary Illness that was missed and we lost him recently, I do know of quite a few dogs with kidney problems that have lived quite a long good life, fingers crossed for you.

Re: Border Collie

Grew up with numerous BC's and had my own while my children were growing up. When he had to leave us at just over 16 years I just felt I had to change breed, I felt I would always be comparing and when we gotted spotted by our first Dallie I felt it was meant to be... My boys are wonderful and I think BC would approve of his sucessors..
