Re: Manchester Terrier
The Manchester terrier unfortunatly has been listed as a Vulnerable Native breed in the uk. The breed fell out of favour when ear cropping became illegal, the characteristic V-shaped ears did not boast his popularity. Breeders now have a program for the breed to ensure the best dogs are bred and are not mixed with other breeds. Breeders also have contracts with potential new owners so as to not ruin the breed and just breed willy nilly.
The Manchester is a typical terrier, full of spunk and tenacious. Always up for a challenge, and never to back down.
Loving with their family.
