Re: Japanese Akita Inu
Hi,
we have a Japanese Akita, Kobi, at the Rescue Centre I work at and although he is a beautiful, cuddly, well mannered boy, we have had absolutely no interest in him at all, due to the bad press these dogs get. I'd rather have 10 of tese lovely dogs than one of the violent, rude and obnoxious brats that pass for the next generation of adults! I put all my trust in an Akita and absolutely none in a child of today! ![]() |

Re: Japanese Akita Inu
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and I can't believe I come across some other Jap Akita Inus owner here..it's very hard to find and will be nice to see more people interest in this rare breed in the UK. Sometimes, it frustrates me to explain to people out and about about the difference with the American breed and the Japanese ones when they are all worry about their temperment, which of course it completely different than the American breed. Hanzo, in fact is often bullied by little Gizmo who constantly trying to jump up and chew his curly tail! Anyway, here is my Hanzo and Gizmo, Hanzo (the Jap Akita Inu) (I hope the attachement works..apologies in advance as it is my first attempt!) ![]() |
