yup, i am becoming more girly as i get older, as i now like shoes and handbags, but i'm still quite boyish (punkish) in that respect as i love platforms and things that look punky rather than feminine. I'd much rather be a car mechanic or work in a mountainbike shop as a mechanic or be at the beach diggin up worms etc for research but alas they don't pay very well. Can't be an electrician as i'm scared of spiders and crawling about under peoples floors, behind plasterboard, in attics etc ain't my idea of a good time :P

eww manager! poor you! what about college lecturer? or is that just as bad? you could always join the forces as a leccy? (i would recommend navy/raf tho, having been in the TA i know just how bad the kit is!).

have to say i'm still never bothered by broken nails as i generally don't have any i keep them short so i don't poke folk in the eye playing basketball... well not so much poke as houk the eye out when i do inadvertantly get my hands in their face.

girly girl would be sooooooooooo boring. I was an electrician, thats my home trade...due to redundancies im an engineering manager at the mo Once im back on the work market i am going back to the tools though!!! I love being one of the boys at work lol, treated as one of those - down to the childish banter lol.
I was the same as a kid, all my mates were boys so it was climbing trees, football and racing on our bikes which always ended badly hehe.


I can think of nothing worse than spending hours with girls shoe shopping, doing makeup and worrying if i broke a nail....lol
