    Hi Nadine,

    I noticed you're an expert in travelling with your pet. I am going to pick up a kitten in the Manchester area and bring her to Stockholm. I was hoping to be able to keep her in the cabin under the seat (as is possible from other EC countries), but I heard from Defra that is not so from the UK - all animals need to be put in cargo. Are they correct? After having read some stories here on the forum, it seems as if it's indeed possible to travel with a small pet in the cabin also from the UK.

    I also heard that as the cat needs to go in cargo, I need to pay a staggering £350 at the airport for this. Is this true?! (Note that this is not money for the airline but for the airport's handling or the like.)

    If you're still around, I'd be every grateful for a reply in case you know the answers to my questions!
