The picture is of one of our breeding males...Sweep He's beautiful if i do say so myself lol.
I find that alot of pet shops also inbreed their gerbils too which can obviously cause genetic traits to pop up. I won't breed from a gerbil without any genetic background

I love your profile picture of the Gerbil! I have two gerbils two black brothers called boots and shoes!! I want to breed Gerbils, because i adore them and where i come from we don't have many, only a few in pet shops :-( i rescued my boys. I want to do it so people can get them from a breeder who does the background checks not just from a pet shop, where they no nothing about them x
