- Spent the first five years of my live pretending to be a dog!!! (yes really!!).
In 1985 I got my own house and my first dog a Border Collie who I worked in Obed. and Agility. I became very interested in training and behaviour, so started attending numerous courses, inc. Roy Hunter, John Rogerson, John Fisher, Gwen Bailey, Roger Mugford etc. etc. All the originals in the late 80's. including an instructors course with British Instiute of Professional Dog Trainers and Certificate in Animal Behaviour with John Rogerson.
Always worked with dogs, initially as a dog warden with two different councils, I then managed a rescue centre for a large charity, until I moved into training dogs for an assistance dog charity, dealing with behaviour issues.
I gave up working four years ago when I had my daughter and now train my young dog for Agility in my spare time. However 16 years working with dogs, I miss it like mad!!!
Currently have two dogs, a terrier x and a Corgi X Terrier/C - Location
