I have pictures of my sugar gliders in one of my albums so feel free to look. I have found that sugar gliders make really good pets, they bond really closely to you if you handle them a lot, there fun to watch when you have free play time and let them roam about. when owning sugar gliders it is very important to keep them in a least pairs (same sex pairs unless you are thinking of breeding, but i would suggest that more experince is nessaserry!) as they don't like to live on their own and can become depressed and self mutilate. It is also very important that you give them calcium supliments as they can not get this from their diet, my specialist vet suggested 'Nutrobal' it is a reptile vitamin and calcium supliment, but it has all that they need! As you will probably know from your research that sugar gliders need 75% fruit/vegatables and 25% protien that can come from ether live food such as, meal worms, wax worms and crickets or boild egg or boiled chicken. What is difficult to find out is that they can't have anything containing onion, limes or lemons as this can cause extreem upset stomucs. Sorry i have rather rambled on.....please feel free to contact me again if you need more information......when you are thinking on buying some sugar glider please buy from a breeder rather then a pet shop as they are not a sutable place for them to stay until their new home and they are really over priced. When interested feel free to contact me as i have been breeding sugar gliders for the last year or so and have had nothing but healthy young.
