Your welcome, i know it must be really hard to loose a pet/friend/and partner. I have never lost an animal yet and im so dredding it when i loose my 2. i think it must be loosing a part of your family, i dont know about you but im afraid i treat mine like children. i never thought i would be able to love an animal so much but i was wrong.
It must have been hard to have been bitten by him and really it was not his fault but the person who abused him before you. I know what you mean when you say you can feel him round you, i feel my mum near me too. people think im mad but theres a smell or some thing moves or you feel they are by you. so i do know what you mean there.
Its strange aint it why it is so different when you have had some one or a pet with you then when they are gone you feel lonely in the house. i know i love to be greeted by Honey when i come in if she dont come out her crate when we get back indoors then its strange then. (they go in there crate when we are out so they dont destroy the house).

We were lucky with honey too she was so good, i spose its like having a good child then having a child who is not so good, maybe thats whats happening at the moment with us.

Honey has a face that just melts you but then shadow well he has a real puppy dog face lol. Thank you for your kind words about my 2 as well means alot when some one says some thing nice about your babies dont you think lol.

Thank you so much. Your words are really kind.
It broke my mum's and my heart, but in the end, we had to do what was best for everyone. Even our vet had recommended it two weeks before. He'd bitten 4 people by then, including myself.

Yeah, I hope he is happy now. I can always feel his presence in the house. Thank you. We got Bailey two days after putting Harvey to sleep. It just felt odd without a dog in the house. I am really biased, but I think he's beautiful too. Luckily we haven't had lots of puppy problems, like nipping and the toilet training was really easy. (I count myself quite lucky) Though there have been struggles along the way with other things.

Aww bless her, she has such a pretty face, but so does your younger dog, I just have a huge soft spot for labradors now anyway

so so sorry to hear that. At least you did some thing so very kind to him and as you say gave him 2.5 years of good treatment. We cant always have what we want but you done good to do that much for him. Alot of people would have put him to sleep before giving him a chance. well done to you and as i said so very sorry to hear he is with pet heven, you never know he might be running around up there all happy again lets hope he is. Good luck with your new little one, as i said he is beautiful. I do love my 2 but my bitch is the one i can relate to as she helps me so much in the house. and i have had her longer. you could not have asked for a better dog. keep in touch let me know how you get on if thats ok.

We unfortunately had to have him PTS as he became very aggressive as he got older.
We had him from 6 months old, before that he was ill treated pretty badly and was dog aggressive as well as people aggressive =[
We gave him 2 and a half years of a hopefully good life. I still miss him like mad now.
He was PTS on the 4th September last year.
