you don't need to leave but you need to learn to listen and follow advice from experienced springer dog owners.

so sorry your thread got closed, some people can't keep their opinions to themselves can they? It's your life, your choice, as long as you research and you know what breed of dog you are taking on, then who cares what others think! good luck with whatever you decide. Pm me anytime. xx

can you please please consider a lazier breed. Not complete couch potatoe, but not as high energy as a springer. Trust me when i say this i have owned about 40 springers and cockers, and they need so much work and are more for experienced owners. They are a lovely lovely breed and i can understand why you want them. But please think of the dog.
I am willing to help you research other breeds, like a small dog or some sort of toy, they aren't all bad. What about a cross?
