Well I'm getting him neutered ASAP so that shouldn't be a problem. I don;t think i've ever seen him so happy, I honestly thought he may have been deaf/mute cos I'd never heard him dook before. Apparently I'm no match for a ferret playmate All they do is follow him round constanly now!
Woohoo! Introduced Ozzy and the others today and they get on! They're currently cuddled up together in their tent Any signs I should look out for in the next few days in case I need to separate them etc? Or should they be ok from now on?
Another reaso I want to feed meat to both dogs and ferrets. Ludo already has crap building up on his teeth. Looks like he'll be sharing those chicken wings with the ferrets tomorrow
I'm pretty certain he;s 3 as before he was mine, a friend of a friend owned him and I've known him since he was tiny, I think he was born in June '06 so he;s just over 3. As far as I'm aware though he was never fed meat before i got him, though he did get chicken wings every couple of days as a treat when i took him on. Could that have helped clean them?
The 2 sandys are believes to be 2 years old and the poley is believed to be 1. They're rescues though so can;t be completely sure. Not sure if I'll show them. I would like to work them at some point, but I'll be going out with my uncle and his ferrets a few times first so he can show me what to do and so his ferrets can show mine what to do that's the theory anyway
My poley boy is such a softie, he climbs up onto the sofa and curls up in my hood most nights and keeps my neck warm and I get kisses when he wakes up. The little sandy is a complete nutter and is ALWAYS dancing round and trying to get the others to play, I don;t think he ever stops all the while he is out. I lvoe having them so much, they're such little characters
Yeah I can imagine haha Haing them has been so much fun, and it;s been a learning experience for my partner who hasn't had ferrets before. He panicked hugely the first time they started wardancing and dooking, I got a panicked call from him tlling that they sound like they're choking or having a fit or something. Poor guy was so embarrased when i told him it was nothing to worry about
