saline solution and medi scrub is great for wounds..I have never heard of any house hold products being used as far as i can remember.

scanning is the only way to find the location of the chip, some even travel down the front legs,
if the vet cant find a chip you need to advertise everywhere you can to try and find out if the dog has been lost or stolen, if after 30 days of trying to find the original owner and nobody comes forward then the dog can legally become yours. |
