There's only one basic colour but there are variants of it, some are all that sandy colour, some have large amounts of black, some have white patches/other distinctive markings, they can be very different

It could also be a BT cross, as the title says "border terrier x" so it could be any colour!

Please give us some more information on what your dog looks like, male/female? wearing a collar? what time did you last see him/her? where is he/she likely to be? Will he/she come when called? Friendly/nervous/aggressive?

and some more details like

age, colour, where it was last seen, when it disappeared, was it microchipped or tatooed in ear. Was it wearing a collar with ID disc on. With it being a border x yes it may be any colur depending on what it is crossed with

recommend you also contact dog lost they will put poster up etc and have a good success rate of finding missing dogs. recently one was returned home after 16 months due to having a micro chip.


But border Terriers come in

Grizzle & Tan or Red Grizzle,
Blue & Tan
Wheaten (which is the colour that has died out over the years)

they are not just all one colour

Put your advert onto DogLost also nationalpetregister and a photo if possible, people print out posters and will do everything to help you find your dogs, never give up good luck

was he wearing a collar with tags and is he microchipped? Where and when did you last see him and is there anywhere in your area he's likely to have wandered off to?
