Unhappy Missing WHITE GREY Kitty, Hackney Wick, London

Let me start the story of my Kitty 2 years ago, in Bulgaria. Someone left a little new born kitten on a motorway outside the town with the intention to get rid of it. There was a pub nearby and local alcoholics decided it would be fun to split red wine all over the kitten. Luckily, a woman found it and rescued it before the hard winter started.

This is how I adopted the little kitten named Kitty. She was my lovely little sister while I was living alone, she grew up with me and we were so close. A year later I had to move the country and come to London. I gave Kitty to one of my best friends to look after her for just a few months, till I got the money to put her a chip and vaccine. After the vaccine was made, I found out about the blood test verification and 6 months quarantine period in order to enter the UK border. It costed me lots of money when I didn't have almost any, but my main goal in the last year was to bring Kitty here with me.

It took me a year to fulfill all the UK border requirements for importing a pet. Finally, everything approved, I went to Bulgaria and we made a flight to Paris. There my boyfriend was waiting to pick us and drive us to the French border. The French pet control center didn't want to let us go in UK so we had to find a hotel over night. It was extremely stressful for me and her, because after more than a year waiting for Kitty and I didn't want to loose her again.

Finally on the next day we found a French vet that approved us for UK and we arrived in Kitty's new home in the evening. I was soooo happy, having my friend Kitty and the man in my life both at the same place. They were getting very well together and our family seemed to be growing.

After a month in the new home, she started going out to explore the area. Before she used to be an indoor-only cat, but now I couldn't stop her nature of an explorer. She started going out for a few hours each night - when it was quiet and safe. A few times she went out for a whole night, coming back in the morning hungry like a wild beast, but so happy!

I was happy too, though a bit worried and every night I kept waking up and starring from the window.

Until 18 January... when she went out again, came for her last meal at 11:30 pm and didn't come back. I was waiting for her till about 2:30am and I felt so terribly lonely, but I didn't know why. I felt my stomach was intense like something was wrong, but had no idea what. I could hear my boyfriend's voice - let her being a normal cat, don't stop her.

When I got up in the morning, it was raining hard and she wasn't there. I walked a few times through the whole block during the next day and night - she didn't pop out from anywhere.

First, I thought she got trapped somewhere and frightened waited the day to pass and people to disappear, but no... she didn't come back next night, neither the night after... I made fliers and posters, put them on the windows of each shop and cafe in the area, talked to shop keepers, neighbors, local companies and offices. No one has seen her at all!

Someone called a few days later that they have seen a similar cat around Victoria Park, which is not too far from us. I spent next few days walking around the park in day and night time, but no answer. This gives me some hope that she went in that direction to hide from the rain in the night she went missing and just lost her way back. Maybe someone took her in their home, because she didn't have a collar and weren't sure if she was stray or lost.

Please, have a look at her pics and if you have seen her or heard someone picked a cat like her, help me get my little girl back home. I'm really praying she'll be back with me.
