Lost cat - Holywood, Co Down, Northern Ireland

My cat Sally went missing last Monday, 14th November from Holywood Co Down - I have done everything I think I can so far to track her down; posters, flyers, contacted local shelters, vets as well as local council to see if she had been run over. Have also asked neighbours etc to check their sheds and any other enclosed areas.

We have had a few calls from people thinking they saw her; a good distance from where we lie so we were dubious at first but the descriptions do sound like our Sally but in every case she is either too scared and hiding or has already moved on by the time we get there. we have tried calling her for hours and just not having any luck at all - its been nearly a week now and beginning to lose hope that she will ever come back or that we will find her (I really think she must be lost but we don't seem to be able to find her)

any advice or thougths on anything else I can do would be really appreciated
thanks

thanks a million, yes have checked out the sticky and have done most of them so far - only one I haven't done is the hoover contents in the garden. The reason I haven't so far is because any sightings of Sally haven't been around our area and the weather has been dreadful around here, mainly rain on most nights but I think I'll chance it tomorrow anyway, rain or no rain
thanks for your help
